Micropole announces the sale of its training subsidiary Micropole Learning Solutions

Micropole, an international consulting and technology group specializing in Data & Digital Experience, announces that it has sold its subsidiary dedicated to training, Micropole Learning Solutions (MLS), to Le Pont.

This transaction is in line with the Group's strategy to strengthen its positioning focused on innovation and added value for its clients, with a current operating income above 8% by 2021. In line with the objectives communicated in the TARGET 21 plan, this accretive sale is in line with the refocusing of activities on strategic Data and Digital offerings. In 2020, Micropole will continue to roll out its new offerings around Data, AWS, Azure, Salesforce and Go Cloud & Security. However, Micropole Group will maintain close commercial and technical relations with MLS.

In the 2019 consolidated financial statements, which will be presented on April 22, 2020 when the annual results are published, the MLS business will be considered as sold and the corresponding revenue will therefore be neutralized. This will result in a revision of EUR 3 million to the consolidated revenues of EUR 118.4 million that were published on February 13, 2020. The terms of the transaction are not disclosed.

"I wish Le Pont and its founders Erik Campanini and Vinarom Vilaihongs every success in their project to develop MLS. I am convinced that the company's employees will be the first to benefit from the new dynamics they will bring", said Christian Poyau, Chairman and CEO of the Group.

"The acquisition of MLS's proven expertise in training, digital learning and learning management systems from major international clients fits perfectly with our strategy to develop a leading digital education group," said Erik Campanini and Vinarom Vilaihongs, co-founders of The Bridge.
