Q3 2017 revenues at €25.1 million

  • 2.2% growth in sales over 9 months
  • Unfavorable calendar impact inQ3

Micropole, an international consulting and innovative technology group, reported cumulative revenues of €83.2 million for the first nine months of 2017, up 2.2%. On a like-for-like basis, growth amounted to 2.4%.

Third-quarter revenues amounted to 25.1 million euro, up 0.1%. At constant scope and exchange rates, the increase was 1.8%.

Several elements impacted third quarter productivity.

  • In France, despite an increase in daily rates, almost flat growth was constrained by a day effect but also by continued pressure on recruitment.
  • Outside France, growth was 1.4% over the period. Belgium continued to record sustained growth. Switzerland was heavily impacted over the period by a particularly sharp increase in leave-taking (linked to the large number of new employees who arrived in 2016), as well as several other factors relating to the period: unfavorable day effect, very high base effect and unfavorable exchange rate effect.
  • Micropole Institut's training activity improved over the quarter but was still strongly impacted by the sector reform that affected the profession.

In a market that remains buoyant, the Group's expertise in its Data and Digital offerings has enabled it to sign and complete significant new projects. Consulting activities, as well as services around Financial Performance, Data Governance and GDPR continued to grow. The Digital Transformation offer, carried by the digital agency WIDE, has received two awards. WIDE received a bronze TOP/COM for the communication strategy implemented for MACIF and a silver e-Commerce Trophy for the creation of the new L'Occitane world e-commerce site.

In order to support its development in a very tight job market, Micropole is actively pursuing its recruitment policy. The Group has been awarded the Happy Trainees and Happy at Work for Starters labels and is particularly looking for business line consultants and data experts.

In terms of outlook, the figures announced for the period continue to support the Group's strategy, the soundness of its market positioning, and the forecast growth in its margins.

Next financial meeting on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 for the publication of 2017 revenues. The full financial calendar is available on the Group's website.
