Q1 2013 revenues at €29.1 million

Micropole, a Digital Services Company (DSC), present in Europe and Asia, specializing in Business Intelligence, e-Business, ERP and CRM, posted consolidated revenues of €29.1 million in the first quarter of 2013, down 4.3% compared to the same period in 2012.

This first quarter was strongly impacted by an unfavorable calendar effect in France (-2 days) and Switzerland (-3 days). On a constant number of working days, revenues for the period would have been stable compared to the first quarter of last year. Beyond this observation, the drivers of the dynamics of the first two quarters of 2012 and 2013 were different. The first quarter 2012 figure was significantly impacted by the strong growth in headcount maintained throughout the 2011 financial year. Conversely, the first quarter of 2013 was based on a strong improvement in occupancy rates, with headcount relatively stable compared to the last quarter of 2012.

On a like-for-like basis, organic revenues for the first quarter amounted to 28.5 million euro.

"At the beginning of 2013, the Group's key indicators show a positive dynamic, with a mechanical consequence of the resumption of headcount growth in France, a trend that should continue in the second quarter. Like many companies in the sector, in a general economic context that is still not very predictable, the Group is pursuing its priority objective of restoring its margins ", comments Christian Poyau, Chairman and CEO of Micropole.
