Acceleration of organic growth with + 9% in Q4 2015

Growth of nearly 7% for the year as a whole

The year 2015 marked a return to growth for Micropole. As expected, following the implementation of the strategic plan, all of the Group's activities and subsidiaries recorded an increase in revenues over the period. The outlook for 2016 is therefore favorable, with particularly dynamic activity driven by the relevance of Micropole's focus on complementary, high value-added Digital and Data-oriented offerings.

Micropole, an international group in innovative digital consulting and technologies, achieved solid organic growth of 6.9% for the full year in 2015. Annual revenues thus amounted to €98.1 million, compared with €91.8 million recorded over the same period last year. The fourth quarter saw an acceleration in growth of 9.2%, to 27.4 million euros. On a like-for-like basis, 2015 revenues were up 4.6%. Also on a like-for-like basis, the change in revenues for the last quarter of the period reached +7.2%.

Progression of all activities

All of the Group's activities grew in 2015. This is a concrete result of the implementation of the Group's strategic plan, which now enables Micropole to offer extremely complementary services that are perfectly aligned with new customer needs. Thus:

  • Performance Management, driven by cutting-edge services around Big Data and Financial Performance, has particularly progressed, as has the Consulting activity.
  • The expected development of the Digital Transformation business accelerated in the second half of the year. The strong investments made in 2015 to support the ramp-up of the WIDE brand, both in France and Switzerland, bore fruit with the opening of numerous client accounts.
  • The Data Governance offer, in which Micropole is the leader in Europe, has recorded significant growth, supported by the strategic interest of Business & IT departments in the quality and value of their data.

Progress of all countries

All of the Group's geographic regions also experienced growth during the period:

  • Activities in France (Paris and Regions) continued to grow (+3%), with a particularly dynamic last quarter of 2015. After several years of growth, the share of activities in the regions now represents nearly 31% of sales in France.
  • Switzerland confirms the expected recovery, linked to the launch of the WIDE brand at the beginning of the second half of 2015 and the favorable effect of a strong change in the exchange rate.
  • The Benelux region, which has been growing steadily for several years, continued its strong growth (+24%), driven by the increase in value of its Performance Management and Data Governance services and by the opening of new customer accounts.
  • China grew by almost 30% over the year, thanks to significant contracts won from Chinese and Western companies.

The year 2016 is opening with favorable prospects for Micropole. The digital revolution concerns all companies in all sectors of activity. At the heart of this issue, Micropole is able to support its clients from the upstream consulting phases through to operational implementation. The Group is also constantly working on strengthening its innovation capacities around Digital and Data and on defining new business models.

"The resumption of growth across all our entities confirms the relevance of our focus strategy initiated in 2014. We are therefore approaching 2016 with optimism about the Group's continued sustainable growth," commented Christian Poyau, Chairman and CEO of Micropole Group.
