Third Quarter Turnover 2009 : 20.6 Million Euros

Micropole-Univers, a European company specializing in the fields of Business Intelligence, e-Business, ERP and CRM, achieved a consolidated turnover of 20.6 m€ in the 3 rd quarter 2009. This represents a slight increase over the turnover for the same period last year, which amounted to 20.5 m€. The cumulative revenue to end September 2009 is 67.4 m€, in contrast with that of 2008, which was 66.7 m€.

On a like-for-like basis, a drop of 6.3% was recorded for the third quarter in relation to 2008 figures. Covering the summer holidays, this period traditionally shows a slow-down in activity which makes the analysis of results that much more difficult. However, we can notice a continuation in the trend already revealed in the second quarter 2009, that is, a drop in like-for-like turnover, with the regression seeming to have stabilized (a drop of 6.3% in the 3 rd quarter as opposed to 7.5% in the second quarter).

More than a year after the onset of the crisis, Micropole-Univers continues to hold up well in relation to the market trends, it’s main assets being a sound financial structure, a diversified client portfolio and high value-added services. On this last point, the dynamic of Micropole Univers’ offer notably in e-Business and ERP has continued into the third quarter. Since the beginning of the year 2009, despite a context which was and is still uncertain, overall development in turnover remains positive at around 1%.

«We can notice some improvement in business for the month of September. Nonetheless it is still too early to assert that the situation has finally and durably turned around », states Christian Poyau, CEO of Micropole-Univers
