First Quarter Turnover 2008: 21.5 Million Euros

Once again, Micropole-Univers has shown sustained growth during the first quarter of 2008, well above market levels.

Micropole-Univers, a European consulting and engineering company, specializing in Business Intelligence, E-Business, CRM and ERP, has confirmed the growth rate published in its financial results on April 24 th , with first-quarter sales of 21.5 million euros for 2008. This figure is up by 21% when compared to the same period in 2007. Turnover includes that of Apsalys, a company acquired in October 2007. On a like-for-like basis, including exchange rates, Micropole Univers’ organic growth in turnover for the first quarter of 2008 is 20%.

All the group’s business activities are showing strong growth, particularly the E-Business and Business Intelligence sectors, which have developed at the same rate. This first quarter of 2008 was also marked by the continuing progress in the number of consulting missions carried out by Micropole-Univers, not forgetting the development of the training business, which enjoyed a 33% growth in turnover.

This development process is naturally linked to the quality of the consulting and engineering company’s industrial positioning in growth markets. Furthermore, as Christian Poyau, President of Micropole-Univers pointed out when presenting the group’s financial results at the SFAF meeting on 24 April 2008, “the new offers and partnerships launched in 2007 have contributed to this sustained growth and we remain confident that the company will continue to grow at a rate that is higher than that of the market in 2008”
