With the acquisition of Velixis, a Belgian company specializing in Business Intelligence, the Group strengthens its offer in Belgium and Luxembourg and its position as a leader in Europe.
Micropole, a consulting and engineering group specializing in Business Intelligence, e-Business, ERP and CRM, announces the acquisition of 100% of the Brussels-based company Velixis. This acquisition is part of the company's three-year development plan (2011-2013) and supports its strategy of deploying all of the group's expertise in each of its geographical areas of operation and increasing its international revenues.
Micropole pursues its international strategy
With the acquisition of the Belgian company OASIS, specialized in ERP on SAP, in January 2011, followed by the opening of an office in Luxembourg in September 2011, the group further strengthens its presence and extends its business and sector expertise in the region. "Our new position in the region allows us to offer companies and institutions the scope of our innovative and high value-added expertise in ERP and Business Intelligence to help them make a difference in their markets. With Velixis, Micropole expands on the BI market in Belgium and Luxembourg
Created in November 2007, Velixis offers Business Intelligence and Performance Management solutions and services with expertise in the fields of finance, sales and marketing. With 30 employees and a 2011 turnover of €3.5m, the company relies since its creation on its close partnership with SAP (Velixis is also a reference partner on SAP-HANA), to address its Business Intelligence solutions to business decision makers and IT managers of small and medium-sized companies and large international groups, particularly in the industry, services, media, banking and insurance sectors, and the public sector.
